Nude lips can be tricky as you can sometimes end up looking as if you're wearing a concealer on your lips and that just isn't a good look. The most important thing to remember when choosing a nude lipstick is your skin tone. If you have very pale skin a nude with a slightly more pink tone is a safe option. If you are darker you can get away with more brown nudes Being my naturally pale self I have struggled to find a nude that suits me. I have finally found the perfect natural, glossy nude pink lip, however I must confess it's more pink than nude as I feel like any more nude would just not suit me.

The Soap and Glory Super-Colour Fabulipstick (love the name!) in the shade 'The Missing Pink' is an amazing 'my lips but better' shade which I think would flatter all skin types. It appears slightly darker in the tube than it does on the lips. The formula is wonderfully smooth and creamy and it has a perfect satin finish-not too glossy, not too matte. Love it! The have a light vanilla almost cupcake-like scent which I personally do not like but seems to be very popular. The scent is not a deal breaker when it comes to this lipstick as it very faint especially when on the lips and the formula and color are just beautiful. The packaging of these lipsticks is also really luxurious and feels a lot more expensive than it is.

To add a bit more of a nude tone to the lips, I then apply the Tanya Burr lipgloss in the shade 'Afternoon Tea'. This shade is the perfect creamy, almost dusty pink. It does a great job of lightening the lipstick. The formula and of these glosses is amazing. They are not too slippery yet they are not too thick either (not to mention they also smell AMAZING!) They are the perfect pigmentation for me - they are not so pigmented that they are almost a liquid lipstick but they are still visible on the lips. I look forward to picking up more of these glosses, the shade 'Chic' is definitely top of my list.
